My name is Shoanta (Shawn-tay) lol yep that’s how you pronounce my name. My youngest son was struggling with sensitive patches of dry skin and I couldn’t figure out what was happening. Like my oldest daughter, she was allergic to berries so I just figured that was his issue as well. Ok, the same parent so the assumption was real however after consistent challenges he was finally diagnosed with eczema. (haha I was incorrect) As a parent, no I didn’t want to see my child go through this being so young. He is my last baby and of course, I want to protect him. Not wanting to give him the steroids prescribed I thought about what I could do to help him as a mother. Yes, I was fearful when this God idea was dropped in me. But why not me, I see firsthand how this is affecting my son. I see how he is complaining his arm hurts or scratching his neck consistently and not understanding why he is in discomfort. So I decided to research and understand what eczema is, and how it can be soothed, healed, and managed. Then I proceeded to gather ingredients to craft the perfect blend, get in my kitchen and start to produce a product that will help soothe him naturally and not harm him long-term. You know later after finding out that so many people that I know in my own immediate family also have challenges with eczema. Whether it’s seasonal or all year long I wanted to help even more. I love natural products and healing (when possible). After much research and prayer, God began to download information and strategies, and connect me with people and information for this God idea. Favor Healing Butter was born in March of 2022. Not fully understanding what would happen but pressing forward in total faith.
